Year 6

Below is a link to Access Art where you can look at how to create your own sketchbook and have an artistic outlet. It guides you through how to use a sketchbook and what to do to create one. The most important thing is being creative and practice. If you want to improve drawing then draw everyday. Focus on things to improve, watch sketching tutorials and sit down and do it. You'll be amazed how quickly you can develop your technique and improve your art skills.

Here's my work on drawing a troll. I started by thinking about its rough shape. I then looked at pictures and found examples that I liked and tried to replicate just the head. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have a complete troll sketch.

Don't be afraid to send me your work!

Please remember that I will be setting tasks on Google Classroom each day so make sure you login and check to see what there is to do. If you need your access information then please get in touch with the office (office@hillside.norfolk.sch.uk).
